Preparing a research grant application requires coordinated effort, with professional support provided at Departmental and School level. The Research Strategy Office provides complementary tailored support, including:

• Project management of bid preparation, from conception to submission
• Distilling funder guidance and advising on content that is not discipline specific, such as research culture, equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI), sustainability and more
• Facilitating communications across the research team, including internal and external partners
• Providing non-academic perspective and review of the application
• Organising internal peer review and practice interview panels
