Research Strategy Office

 

The Research Strategy Office (RSO) supports the Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Research and the Research Policy Committee in developing policies to support research activity across the University and in responding to major external developments relating to research in a manner that benefits the University's long-term goals and ensures compliance with the requirements of major stakeholders. Important examples include:

Research Integrity and Ethics: The Research Strategy Office supports the Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Research and the University Research Ethics Committee with the development and dissemination of the University's research integrity and ethics policies, guidance and procedures.

Open Access: The Research Strategy Office supports the Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Research and the Open Access Project Board with the development of appropriate policies and processes to support dissemination of research and scholarship and to ensure that the University complies with research sponsors' terms on Open Access to research publications and research data.
