For those interested or interested in getting into research on global development the following group offers insightful information for working within various contexts:

UK Collaborative on Development Sciences (UKCDS) is a group of 14 UK government departments and research funders working in international development. By stimulating collaboration, UKCDS ensures the best science is funded and used to benefit international development as well as the UK. The remit of UKCDS is broad and varied, covering all sciences and involving stakeholders in government, research organisations, higher education institutions and NGOs.

Global Development Research Funding Hub on the UKCDS web site provides the information on some key large funding sources within the UK for development research. The list of currently open funding calls is available here.
